It was the year 1997 when Leonardo Bruno decided to be part of the world of magic as a professional magician. His grandfather Leonardo Trebole, one of the most important magicians in Mexico and Latin America, was his inspiration and teacher at the beginning of his career. “When I was five years old, I decided I wanted to do magic, to see how fun it was. I stopped playing with my friends and I was full on practice. My grandfather was very strict. That taught me to have respect and admiration for this artistic discipline. “
His first presentation was in kindergarten for an end-of-course festival. With this he began his preparation to compete two years later in a magic Congress in the US. He was the first seven-year-old magician to win 1st place in the category of “Junior Stage” in the history of the Texas Association of Magicians (TAOM).
Leonardo combined his passion with his school duties. At the same time he was in school, he performed on TV shows, private shows and magic conventions. In Mexico City, he collaborated for a special section called “Mi pequeño Monitor” in the daily newspaper Monitor, where he taught kids to make simple magic effects with materials at the fingertips. “I just wanted them to have the tools I had and used a few years earlier to impress their friends, and really just to have fun”.
In 2013, he created a show that was part of the Vaudeville Variety show at the Grand Canyon, Arizona where he performed for more than a year for visitors from different parts of the world. Then he went on to travel.
He currently lives and works in Las Vegas, Nevada but considers himself a citizen of the world. “All the countries I have visited made me feel at home and made me who I am today, thanks to to be able to experience their culture. Magic connects me to people’s feelings. It’s a universal language”.
What is LVMC?
LVMC is the first social inclusive magic club where everyone is welcome, wether you are a professional magician, an amateur magician or if you simply enjoy watching magic the doors remain open for everyone all around the world. We celebrate diversity.
Foundation
In 2015 the LVMC was created from a small A-list Magicians from all around the world in Fabulous Las Vegas Nevada. This group was headed by Leonardo Bruno. This select group of magicians want magic to reach even further around the world, and social media would play a big part in doing so, thus creating LVMC as a Facebook page. Now we have 800k+ members in this club from all ages and backgrounds.
To-date, this club is the world’s largest magic club ever created, thanks to Facebook playing a big part in connecting people from all backgrounds and places, and delivering world-class magic acts to the world.
Our Purpose
The purpose of creating this club was to preserve the quality, improve and showcase this beautiful art called magic.This club relies in 4 strong aspects of performing magic: originality, showmanship, magic ethics and presentation.
Every single act we have posted on our page was rated by our founding members based on those 4 aspects.
The Goal
The ultimate goal of LVMC is to be and remain the largest Magic club in the world and to have the best magicians in the planet to become members. We want to be able to sponsor new upcoming magicians from all around the globe and to become a force in delivering great magic to the world. Our creators dream to be a voice in FISM where the best magicians of the world compete every 3 years to announce one great winner. We hope to be part of that someday.
